This isn’t just any match; it’s a six-a-side spectacle where India and Pakistan find themselves grouped together once more, promising a high-octane encounter. Joining India in their group will be Kuwait, ensuring a competitive start to the tournament.
India’s squad will be captained by none other than the experienced Dinesh Karthik, who expressed his excitement: “It is an absolute honour to lead Team India at the Hong Kong Sixes, a tournament with such rich history and global recognition. I look forward to leading a group of players who have such incredible records to their credit, and together we will aim to bring joy to the fans and play cricket that is both fearless and entertaining.” He will be joined by his former India and Tamil Nadu teammate, R. Ashwin, who had previously confirmed his participation.
The Hong Kong Sixes, a thrilling three-day event running from November 7th to 9th, will feature a total of 12 international teams. These teams are:

- Bangladesh
- Hong Kong
The teams are divided into four exciting groups:
Pool A: South Africa, Afghanistan, and Nepal
Pool B: Australia, England, and UAE
Pool C: India, Pakistan, and Kuwait
Pool D: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong, China
