The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced a reshuffle within the Men’s Senior Selection Committee, bringing in new talent to shape the future of Indian cricket. During its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai on Sunday, former India cricketers RP Singh and Pragyan Ojha were confirmed as the latest additions to the five-member panel.
This significant move sees them joining the experienced ranks of Chairperson Ajit Agarkar, Shiv Sundar Das, and Ajay Ratra. Their inclusion is anticipated to inject fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding of contemporary cricket dynamics and the modern dressing-room environment.
RP Singh, a left-arm pacer renowned for his ability to swing the ball, proudly represented India in 14 Test matches, 58 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 10 T20 Internationals. Similarly, Pragyan Ojha, a skillful left-arm spinner, made his mark in 24 Tests, 18 ODIs, and 6 T20Is, contributing to many memorable triumphs under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.
