Rajeev Shukla has lauded the Indian cricket team’s exceptional performance throughout the ongoing T20 Asia Cup, expressing strong confidence in their ability to win the tournament.
India is gearing up for a highly anticipated final against Pakistan at the iconic Dubai International Stadium on September 28th. This momentous match will mark the very first time these two cricketing giants have faced each other in an Asia Cup final across the tournament’s 41-year history.
The Men in Blue have been on an impressive run, remaining undefeated throughout the competition, which includes securing two vital victories over Pakistan already.
Shukla shared his optimism with ANI, stating, “Our team has performed brilliantly in the Asia Cup 2025. The team has a good combination. I am very confident that we will be the Asia Cup Champions and lift the Cup. Best wishes to Team India.”

Abhishek Sharma has consistently been India’s leading batsman in the tournament, notching up his third consecutive half-century against Sri Lanka in their final Super Four match. His impressive knock of 61 runs from 31 balls, featuring eight fours and two sixes, came at a remarkable strike rate of 196.77.
On the bowling front, Kuldeep Yadav has been a true revelation, effectively utilizing his diverse range of bowling techniques. He currently leads the tournament’s wicket-takers with an impressive haul of 13 wickets from six matches, maintaining an excellent economy rate of 6.05.
