Ltd. Trophy. Ridden by the skilled P. Trevor, the horse not only claimed the feature event but did so in a breathtaking record time of 2 minutes and 2.24 seconds.
This triumph carried immense weight beyond the trophy itself, as it was the decisive race for the Trainers’ Championship. Trainer Pesi Shroff, whose Duke Of Tuscany emerged victorious, was locked in a tight contest with Imtiaz Sait, both tied at 13 points before this race. Duke Of Tuscany’s stunning performance, outpacing Sait’s Regina Memorabilis, ultimately sealed the championship for Shroff, crowning a remarkable season.
