The International League T20 (ILT20) is gearing up for its first-ever player auction for Season 4. This new approach replaces the earlier direct signing system, introducing an exciting and competitive auction process.

Auction Format and Rules
The auction will feature a total of 78 players, with each of the six franchises—Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriorz—allowed to pick up to 13 players. Player registrations for this season closed on September 10, 2025.
Team Purse and Budget
Each franchise has a fixed auction purse of USD 1.5 million (approximately Rs 12 crore). This budget is meticulously allocated to acquire players, offering teams the flexibility to balance between securing marquee signings and nurturing emerging talents.
Squad Composition Rules
Maximum Squad Size: 18 players
Minimum Squad Size: 14 players
Player Categories:
Capped Players: Those with international playing experience.
Uncapped Players: Emerging talents without international exposure.
Overseas Players: A maximum of 6 per squad.
Local Players: At least 5 players must be from the UAE.
