A political confrontation unfolded in Hubballi on Saturday as members of the Youth Congress, led by their unit president Arjun Patil, sought to besiege the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office. The police, however, were quick to intervene, detaining several protesters to prevent the demonstration from escalating.
Anticipating the protest, authorities had already implemented extensive security measures, including barricading all access roads to the RSS office located on Gokul Road, ensuring a strong police presence ahead of the event.
The demonstrators were halted near the NWKRTC depot on Gokul Road, effectively preventing them from reaching their intended destination. Undeterred, they vocally protested against the RSS, vehemently condemning a recent threat call made to Minister Priyank Kharge and reiterating their demand for a complete ban on the organization.

A heated exchange ensued between the Youth Congress activists and the police when their advance was blocked. As protesters attempted to breach the barricades and push forward towards the RSS office, law enforcement personnel swiftly moved in, detaining them and taking them into preventive custody.
Following their detention, the individuals were transported to the CAR Ground by bus and subsequently released.
