A woman has bravely come forward, accusing a group of men of molestation and assault during a night out at a high-end nightclub located within a five-star hotel in Kolkata. Police confirmed the allegations on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this serious alleged incident.
The complainant stated that she was enjoying the evening with her husband, brother, and friends when a heated brawl erupted at the hotel’s nightclub on Sunday, October 26, night.
The altercation reportedly escalated into a prolonged confrontation, lasting approximately an hour and a half, commencing around 4:15 a.m. inside the exclusive venue.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), among those named as accused are prominent businessman Naser Khan, who previously served a prison sentence in a gang rape case before his release in 2020, and his nephew Junaid Khan, as disclosed by police.
In her poignant complaint, the woman recounted, “They attacked us with bottles and tried to touch me inappropriately.” A police officer conveyed the details of her statement.
However, Mr. Khan has publicly refuted his involvement, asserting that he was not present at the nightclub when the incident allegedly occurred.
