TDP MLC Perabathula Rajasekhar recently lauded the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, attributing the significant investments flowing into Andhra Pradesh, including the new Google data centre in Visakhapatnam, to their vision. He noted that the coalition government’s ambitious goal of generating 20 lakh jobs is already showing tangible progress, marking a new era of growth for the state.
Speaking from the TDP central office near Mangalagiri in Guntur district, Mr. Rajasekhar emphasized the government’s balanced approach to development and social welfare during its 16-month tenure. He highlighted that substantial investments, totaling hundreds of crores of rupees, are pouring into the state, thanks to the Chief Minister’s long-standing reputation as an economic visionary. This reputation, he reminded, stems from his pivotal role in creating Hyderabad’s iconic Hi-Tec City, which single-handedly transformed the city into a global technology hub.
The monumental Google data centre, with an impressive investment of ₹87,500 crore, stands out as a flagship achievement for the state. Rajasekhar pointed out that this isn’t an isolated incident; many more investments are anticipated, underscoring the deep confidence that businesses and entrepreneurs place in Mr. Naidu’s administration.
Furthermore, Mr. Rajasekhar praised IT Minister Nara Lokesh’s initiative to launch a comprehensive Skill Census in his Mangalagiri constituency. This program aims to uplift the youth across Andhra Pradesh by boosting their skills and opening doors to vast employment opportunities. He drew a stark contrast to the previous YSRCP government’s tenure, where young people often had no choice but to leave the state in search of work. Impressively, he concluded, the TDP-Jana Sena Party-BJP alliance has already generated approximately six lakh jobs in just 16 months since taking office.
