In his significant inaugural tour of Tamil Nadu since taking office, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan is slated to visit a quartet of districts – Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Madurai, and Ramanathapuram – over three days, from October 28 to October 30.
The Vice President’s itinerary begins in Coimbatore on October 28, where he will be honored by the esteemed Coimbatore Citizen Forum at CODISSIA. As part of his visit, he will also pay his respects by offering homage at the Mahatma Gandhi statue located within the Town Hall corporation building.
Following his engagements in Coimbatore, which include participating in the centenary celebrations of Shanthalinga Ramasamy Adigalar at Perur Mutt, Mr. Radhakrishnan will travel to Tiruppur. There, he will offer floral tributes at the statues dedicated to local hero Tiruppur Kumaran and Mahatma Gandhi.
October 29 will see the Vice President attending a felicitation event in Tiruppur before heading to Madurai. In the evening, he will visit the renowned Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple for prayers. Concluding his tour on October 30, Mr. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to attend the Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar Jayanthi program in Pasumpon, located in the Ramanathapuram district.
