Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan is set to embark on a significant two-day spiritual tour, visiting the sacred sites of Vijayawada and Tirupati on September 24 and 25. His itinerary includes a profound ‘darshan’ of Goddess Kanaka Durga Devi, majestically enthroned atop Indrakeeladri hill. Following this, he will visit the tranquil Punnami Ghat, located along the revered Krishna River.
On September 25, the Vice President, accompanied by his family, will undertake the traditional pilgrimage to Tirumala to seek blessings from Lord Venkateswara Swamy, as confirmed by official sources.
Preparations for this high-profile visit are well underway. A comprehensive review of all arrangements, including security and logistics, was conducted on Monday, September 22. Key officials present included CRPF DIG Kamalesh Singh, Krishna District Collector D.K. Balaji, State Intelligence DIG Hafeez, and Gannavaram Airport Director M. Lakshmikantha Reddy.
The Krishna district police and other involved departments have been explicitly instructed to ensure all necessary security measures and protocol requirements are met for the Vice President’s tour.
