The Chief Minister revealed that financial assistance totaling ₹30.70 crore has been disbursed to the dependents of 96 police personnel who died while on duty. This support extends to individuals from the state police, Central Armed Police Forces, and armed and paramilitary forces from other states who were serving in Uttar Pradesh.
Adityanath lauded the Uttar Pradesh Police for their persistent commitment, even in the face of challenging circumstances.
“The personnel of the Uttar Pradesh Police have consistently prioritized duty above all else, playing a crucial role in crime control, maintaining law and order, and ensuring the safety of women and girls,” he remarked.
