Puttaparthi recently hosted a remarkable two-day exhibition, “Science and Spirituality (on Indian culture),” inaugurated by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust managing trustee R.J. Rathnakar. This special event, held at Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, was a highlight of Sathya Sai Baba’s centenary birth celebrations.
During the inauguration, Mr. Rathnakar commended the dedicated “Bal Vikas Gurus” for their extensive research and commitment. They meticulously explored Sathya Sai Baba’s divine discourses and “Chinna Kathas” (short stories), bringing his profound wisdom to life.
The exhibition hall was transformed by approximately 170 innovative exhibits. These impressive displays were created by 250 students, mentored by 150 Bal Vikas Gurus from 26 districts across Andhra Pradesh. A statement from the Trust highlighted how the exhibition masterfully illuminated the scientific foundations within spirituality and the spiritual essence embedded in science. Through creative analogies and explanations inspired by Sathya Sai Baba himself, complex spiritual ideas were presented with clarity, making them relatable and profoundly impactful for all attendees.
The event also saw the presence of senior officials from Sri Sathya Sai Seva organizations and other esteemed guests, all gathered to celebrate this unique confluence of knowledge and faith.
