In a gesture of profound devotion and inter-state spiritual harmony, the Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), B.R. Naidu, accompanied by his wife, recently visited the sacred Sri Mahalakshmi temple in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. During their visit, they ceremonially offered beautiful silk vastrams, which are traditional sacred robes, to the deity.
This significant presentation was made on behalf of the TTD, a prominent Hindu religious organization that manages the Sri Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala. The offering was graciously accepted by the temple’s dedicated priests and officials, who, in turn, honored Chairman Naidu and his spouse with ‘theertha prasadams’ – holy water and blessed food, symbolizing divine blessings. The occasion was further graced by the presence of several TTD board members and other senior dignitaries, highlighting the importance of this spiritual exchange between the two revered temple trusts.
