The air in Palakkad was buzzing with pride and excitement on Thursday evening as the under-19 girls’ kho-kho team from Sree Narayana Public School, Elappully, arrived at the Palakkad Junction railway station. These remarkable young athletes had just returned from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, where they magnificently lifted the CBSE national kho-kho championship trophy, bringing immense glory to their school and community.
Upon their arrival, the champion team, accompanied by their dedicated coaches K.G. Rejeesh, M. Selshya, and Rahul, was met with an enthusiastic and heartfelt welcome. The entire school community, including management, fellow students, and teachers, turned out in full force to congratulate their stars. This triumphant squad has now secured their spot to compete in the prestigious 69th national school games, scheduled to take place in Madhya Pradesh later in December, promising more thrilling action and potential victories.
