A profound sense of sorrow has enveloped a private school in Bengaluru’s Richards Town after a 17-year-old student tragically died on Monday. Aaryn Moses Vyas, a promising Class 12 science student, allegedly fell from the school building in Pulakeshi Nagar.
Police reports indicate that Aaryn arrived at school around 8:10 a.m. and, just ten minutes later, was captured on CCTV footage ascending to the second floor before the incident occurred. Authorities are meticulously reviewing the footage as part of their ongoing investigation.
Following the incident, Aaryn was immediately rushed to a private hospital, then transferred to another, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
The Pulakeshi Nagar Police have officially registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) and are diligently working to uncover the circumstances and motivations behind this heart-wrenching event.
In response to the tragedy, the school promptly communicated with parents, confirming the student’s death and announcing a closure for Tuesday. This decision was made as a mark of respect and to allow the school community time to mourn.
“We deeply understand how distressing this news must be,” the school’s statement read. “Counsellors will be readily available on campus to provide essential support to our students and staff as they navigate their emotions and grief.”
The school management fondly remembered Aaryn as not only an exceptional academic talent but also a remarkably gifted sportsperson. He proudly represented the school at national events and even competed in various international competitions, leaving a lasting legacy.
