A heartbreaking incident occurred in Bhongir, where a 53-year-old man, Kadari Ramesh, tragically died after his motorcycle reportedly lost control and plunged into a water-filled pit on the Hyderabad–Warangal National Highway. The pit was part of ongoing road construction work in the area.
Bhongir police have registered a case regarding the incident. According to authorities, Ramesh, a builder residing in Peddawada, had attended a family function at SLNS Function Hall in Bhongir on the afternoon of September 28. His son, Mahesh, left the venue earlier, around 5 p.m.
Concerns arose when Ramesh could not be located at the hall and failed to return home by 8:30 p.m. Mahesh attempted to contact his father and learned that Ramesh was in Ghatkesar, though his speech was incoherent before his phone switched off.
The grim discovery was made the following morning, around 8:30 a.m., when an acquaintance informed Mahesh that his father’s body and motorcycle (bearing registration number TS 30 J 6500) were found in a construction water hole near Deepthi Hotel. Upon rushing to the scene, Mahesh confirmed his father’s demise.
In his official complaint, Mahesh noted the absence of external injuries on his father’s body, suggesting that the death likely resulted from losing control of the vehicle and falling into the ill-fated pit.
