A tragic incident has unfolded in Iruttumuktu, near Kelakam, where a 45-year-old man succumbed to stab injuries allegedly inflicted by his brother-in-law. The victim, identified as Roy, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, after receiving medical treatment.
According to reports from the Kelakam police, Roy, a resident of Pouvvathil Iruttumuktu, was reportedly attacked by his brother-in-law, Arakkal Jason, at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Despite being rushed to the intensive care unit of a local hospital, Roy’s injuries proved fatal, and he sadly died during his treatment.
The Kelakam police have initiated a full investigation into the matter, registering a case to uncover the circumstances surrounding this devastating family incident.
