The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has recorded an impressive ₹918.6 crore in donations to its various trusts between November 2024 and October 2025. TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu highlighted that these contributions have steadily increased since he assumed office, with devotees actively donating through both online and offline channels.
Out of the total amount received, ₹579.38 crore was collected through online donations, while ₹339.20 crore came via offline channels. The Sri Venkateshwara (SV) Annadanam Trust was the primary beneficiary, receiving approximately ₹339 crore. Following closely were the Srivani Trust, which garnered over ₹252 crore, and the Sri Balaji Aarogya Varaprasadini Scheme, which received around ₹98 crore.
Other trusts that received significant donations include the SV Pranadana Trust (nearly ₹67 crore), SV Gosamrakshana Trust (over ₹56 crore), SV Vidyadanam Trust (₹33.47 crore), and the Balaji Institute of Surgery, Research & Rehabilitation for the Disabled (BIRRD) Trust (around ₹30 crore). The SV Sarvashreyas Trust also received ₹20.46 crore, while the SV Veda Parirakshana Trust received ₹13.87 crore, the SVBC channel ₹6.29 crore, and SVIMS ₹1.52 crore.
Chairman Naidu noted a growing preference among donors for online contributions and also mentioned their support for the temple’s developmental projects, including construction, machinery acquisition, and technological advancements. He emphasized that officials have been instructed to ensure donors receive due respect and adequate facilities, acknowledging their valuable support.
The TTD manages multiple trusts dedicated to various charitable activities. These include distributing free food to pilgrims, supporting education and healthcare initiatives, and promoting Vedic learning. The famed Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala is renowned as one of the world’s busiest and wealthiest Hindu shrines, attracting approximately three crore pilgrims annually.
