The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marked a significant moment in its centenary celebrations on Sunday with an impressive series of route marches held across Bengaluru. Thousands of members, proudly clad in the distinctive RSS uniform, took to the streets, making their presence felt throughout the city.
To ensure smooth coordination and maximum outreach, Bengaluru was strategically divided into two main operational areas: a northern zone and a southern zone. A remarkable 100 distinct locations were designated for these marches, with 51 situated in the bustling south zone and 49 in the vibrant north.
Organizers reported robust participation, with each location drawing between 200 and 500 members. The Chickpet area, in particular, witnessed one of the most substantial turnouts, attracting nearly 1,000 enthusiastic participants, highlighting the widespread support for the event.
These meticulously planned marches are just one component of a larger nationwide series of events orchestrated by the RSS. The organization is diligently commemorating a century since its founding in 1925, reflecting on its history and future.
