The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) delivered exciting news on Sunday, officially publishing the final list of candidates provisionally selected for the Group II general recruitment examination. This significant announcement follows the exams held in December 2024.
Originally notified in December 2022, this comprehensive examination aimed to fill a total of 783 coveted positions across 18 diverse government departments. The rigorous selection process included four examination sessions conducted on December 15 and 16 of the previous year.
Following the release of the general ranking list on March 11 and subsequent meticulous certificate verification, the Commission’s official website (websitenew.tgpsc.gov.in) now displays the provisional selection of 782 candidates, with one result currently withheld. It’s important to note that these published results are subject to the final outcomes of various ongoing writ petitions in the courts.
Regarding the sports quota, the provisional list initially accounted for eight vacancies. However, due to the limited availability of eligible sports candidates, only one of these positions has been filled. Consequently, the remaining seven sports quota vacancies have been re-allocated and are now available for competition under the open category.
