Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has actively sought collaboration from British companies for the significant Musi River rejuvenation project. This ambitious undertaking is central to the state’s vision of establishing Hyderabad as a truly global metropolis.
During a recent meeting with an official delegation led by British High Commissioner Lindy Cameron, the Chief Minister outlined his government’s strategic efforts to boost the manufacturing industry and enhance investment opportunities across Telangana.
Chief Minister Reddy specifically encouraged British investors to explore opportunities in the burgeoning pharmaceutical and electric vehicle (EV) sectors, and to contribute to the development of the ‘Bharat Future City.’ In response, High Commissioner Lindy Cameron affirmed the United Kingdom’s strong commitment to fostering cooperation in both education and technology.

Further demonstrating a commitment to collaboration, Ms. Lindy Cameron agreed to co-fund the prestigious Chevening scholarship, providing valuable opportunities for meritorious students from Telangana. Additionally, the British government expressed its willingness to offer specialized training programs for government teachers and university professors within the state, following the Chief Minister’s presentation on the draft education policy.
