A significant transformation has taken place in Telangana! The erstwhile Telangana Police Housing Corporation Limited officially adopted a new identity, becoming the Telangana Police Housing Infratech and Consultancy Services Corporation Limited (TGPICS). This strategic change, approved by the government, came into effect on Saturday, October 18.
According to TGPICS Managing Director M. Ramesh, the state government formalized this rebranding through official orders also dated October 18. These directives not only sanctioned the new name but also empowered the corporation to fully operate under its expanded TGPICS designation.
Mr. Ramesh elaborated on the strategic shift, explaining that the corporation’s scope has vastly grown beyond its original focus on housing. It now delivers a broad spectrum of sophisticated consultancy and infrastructure solutions. This includes expertise in technology-driven operations management, project development, specialized technical facilities, advanced engineering, comprehensive project management, expert technical advice, and innovative design. Furthermore, TGPICS is equipped to handle construction, sports infrastructure development, logistics, and various other related services.
Essentially, this rebranding is a clear reflection of the corporation’s expanded mission and its increasingly vital role in providing cutting-edge technical and infrastructure solutions across a multitude of sectors within the state.
