Leading Congress MP, Mallu Ravi, didn’t hold back, sharply criticizing BRS leaders K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao. Ravi accused them of deliberately misguiding the public with their recent statements against the current state government and urged citizens to see through their misleading rhetoric.
Addressing the press on Wednesday, Ravi claimed that the previous BRS administration had severely hampered Telangana’s progress, setting it back by five decades. He lauded Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy as an exceptional leader, highlighting his initiatives like the caste census and the introduction of crucial BC Bills in the Assembly. Ravi also confidently dismissed any hopes of BRS returning to power, calling it mere “daydreaming.”
Ravi further predicted a dismal performance for the BRS in the upcoming local body elections, expecting them to secure “zero” seats. He advised BRS leaders to abandon their current approach and instead offer constructive suggestions that genuinely benefit the state’s citizens.
In a related development, TPCC General Secretary Chanagani Dayakar enthusiastically welcomed the High Court Division Bench’s ruling on the Group-I selections. He characterized the verdict as a clear rebuke to the BRS, which he accused of spreading baseless rumors and misinformation about the Group-I examinations. Dayakar asserted that while the opposition sought to fuel resentment among unemployed youth with false narratives, the court’s decision had definitively clarified the truth.
Adding his voice to the chorus, TPCC Media and Communications chairman Sama Rama Mohan Reddy also praised the High Court’s decision on Group-I appointments. Reddy stated that the court’s judgment was a significant embarrassment for those attempting to tarnish the government’s reputation. He went on to accuse leaders from both the BJP and BRS of engaging in “dirty politics” that unfairly targeted Group-I aspirants and their families, hindering their opportunities for employment.
