Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy recently paid a visit to the esteemed Sringeri Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Swamiji. The spiritual leader is currently on a ‘Dharma Vijaya Yatra’ in Hyderabad, where the Chief Minister met him at Shankar Math in Nallakunta on Tuesday morning, October 28, 2025.
Chief Minister Reddy warmly welcomed the revered seer and provided an update on the significant development works and renovation efforts underway at the ancient Vemulawada temple in Karimnagar district.
During his visit to the math, the Chief Minister received blessings by having a darshan of Lord Ganapati, Goddess Sharadamba, Lord Chandramouleeswara Swamy, and Adi Shankaracharya. He also participated in special prayers within the temple complex.
Government Whip and Vemulawada Legislator Adi Srinivas accompanied the Chief Minister throughout this important engagement.
The state government is actively engaged in restoring the historic Vemulawada Raja Rajeshwari temple and is also working on expanding the roads that lead to the sacred site. Chief Minister Reddy had previously pledged during his election campaign that this vital pilgrimage center in Telangana would undergo comprehensive renovations with an allocated budget of ₹100 crore.
