The World Economic Forum (WEF) President, Borge Brende, has extended a personal invitation to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, asking him to participate in the prestigious annual WEF conclave set to take place in Davos next year.
During a meeting in New Delhi on Friday, held concurrently with the Public Affairs Forum of India’s annual gathering, Mr. Brende assured the Chief Minister of his intention to visit Hyderabad in the near future. This visit will serve as an opportunity to delve into potential avenues for collaboration between the WEF and the Telangana government.
In their one-on-one discussion, Mr. Brende reportedly expressed his admiration for Telangana’s remarkable progress over the past year and pledged the WEF’s full support to the state’s ‘TelanganaRising’ initiative. He was particularly keen to understand the factors behind the state’s success. Chief Minister Reddy attributed this impressive performance to the dedicated efforts of his administration and the unwavering support it has received from all stakeholders.
