Bollywood playback queen Sunidhi Chauhan truly set the stage ablaze with her electrifying performance at the Yuva Dasara grand finale on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Thousands of fans swayed and sang along to her chart-topping hits, creating an unforgettable evening.
Known for her iconic track ‘Dhoom Machale’, Sunidhi was undoubtedly the star attraction of this year’s festival, held near the Uttanahalli Jwalamukhi Temple on the outskirts of Mysuru. The enthusiastic youth in the audience echoed her lyrics and danced with unrestrained joy throughout her captivating show.
Even a persistent light drizzle couldn’t dampen the spirits of the attendees, who continued to dance with wild energy and zest, completely immersed in the music.
Sunidhi’s versatile performance included a mix of her popular Hindi Bollywood numbers and beloved Kannada hits, such as ‘Kunidu Kunidu Baare’ from the film ‘Mungaru Male’, delighting the diverse crowd.
Her stellar act marked the spectacular conclusion of Yuva Dasara, which also showcased incredible performances by other renowned artists like Pritam, Arjun Janya, Jubin Nautiyal, and Asees Kaur, among others, throughout the festival.
Introduced over two decades ago, Yuva Dasara was conceived to attract and engage the younger generation in the vibrant spirit of the Dasara celebrations. It has since blossomed into a monumental success and a cherished, permanent fixture of the annual festivities.
In its initial years, the performances were held at the Open Air Auditorium in Mansagangotri. However, as its popularity soared and the need for a larger space became evident, the event was relocated to the Maharaja’s College Grounds.
The festival’s growth continued to skyrocket, leading authorities to move the venue once more last year to the Outer Ring Road. This strategic shift also aimed to alleviate traffic congestion in the city center, a move that has proven highly effective, with no decrease in the ever-growing audience numbers.
Year after year, Yuva Dasara consistently draws top talent from Bollywood, the Kannada film industry, and features trending new singers and bands, all dedicated to entertaining the enthusiastic crowds of Mysuru.
