The State Bank Staff Union (Kerala Circle), or SBSU, recently wrapped up its grand silver jubilee valedictory conference in the capital city. This significant organization proudly represents the dedicated employees across approximately 1,300 State Bank of India branches and offices throughout Kerala.
The event was inaugurated by L. Chandrasekhar, a prominent figure serving as the General Secretary for both the All India State Bank of India Staff Federation (AISBISF) and the National Confederation of Bank Employees (NCBE). In his impactful address, Mr. Chandrasekhar strongly appealed to the government to reconsider and revoke its decision regarding the merger of public sector banks, emphasizing that such actions compromise the foundational principles of bank nationalization.
H.C. Rajath, the President of SBSU (Kerala Circle), honorably presided over the proceedings. Adding to the gravity of the occasion, Manmohan Swain, the General Manager of the State Bank of India, delivered an insightful keynote address to the attendees.
