On Monday morning, October 6th, several equine athletes truly impressed onlookers during their workout sessions. Among the standout performers were Lena, Thessalian, El Rey, Refreshment, Goddess Of War, and Miracle Star, all showcasing exceptional form and speed at the Bengaluru track.
Inner Sand Track Highlights:
600m: Kicking off the day, Doncaster Belle (ridden by R. Pradeep) clocked an impressive 38 seconds, moving with great fluidity. Striking Viking (Shreyas) followed closely at 39 seconds, demonstrating strong acceleration, while Regal Reality (Shreyas) looked to be in superb condition, finishing in 40 seconds.
1000m: Over a longer distance, Fortis (Mark) posted a solid 1-7.5 for the 1000m, with a 600m split of 40 seconds, leaving observers quite pleased with his effort.
Outer Sand Track Highlights:
1000m: On the outer sand, Prince Of Wales (B. Harish) showcased a smooth run, clocking 1-15 (600m in 43.5). Goddess Of War (Girish) was particularly eye-catching, moving attractively with a time of 1-12 (600m in 41). Dynamic Force (S. Sachin) demonstrated comfortable pace at 1-16 (600m in 44). Acantha (R. Pradeep) looked to be in peak physical shape, completing in 1-13 (600m in 42). Refreshment (Girish) truly impressed, posting 1-14 (600m in 41). Finally, Basilica (rb) showed promising form at 1-14 (600m in 44).
1200m: In a compelling display, Thrill Of Brazil (Tauseef) started four lengths behind Queen Maxima (Rushal) but finished a strong five lengths ahead, with a combined time of 1-28 (1000m in 1-11, 600m in 42). Darrington (Arvind) delivered a pleasing performance at 1-27 (1000m in 1-12, 600m in 42.5). Thessalian (Shinde) gave a truly fine display, clocking 1-27 (1000m in 1-11, 600m in 40). Charismatic (Shinde) was truly impressive with a time of 1-44 (1200m in 1-26, 1000m in 1-9, 600m in 40). Mystikos (D. Patel) moved with remarkable fluency, clocking 1-44.5 (1200m in 1-25.5, 1000m in 1-8.5, 600m in 41). Another impressive run came from El Rey (D. Patel), who moved powerfully to finish in 1-44 (1200m in 1-26, 1000m in 1-9, 600m in 41.5).
1600m: Concluding the workouts, Miracle Star (D. Patel) delivered a very pleasing display over 1600m, finishing in 1-55 (1400m in 1-37, 1200m in 1-22.5, 1000m in 1-8.5, 600m in 41).
