Get ready for a cinematic celebration! Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is set to present the prestigious Karnataka State Film Awards for both 2018 and 2019 at a special event scheduled for November 3rd in Mysuru.
The highly anticipated ceremony, meticulously organized by the Mysuru district administration in collaboration with the Department of Information and Public Relations, will kick off at 5 p.m. at the impressive Convocation Hall of the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), as confirmed by Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikant Reddy.
During a crucial preparatory meeting held on Monday at the Mysuru City Corporation office, Mr. Reddy highlighted that the Chief Minister will be personally bestowing honors upon outstanding male and female actors, visionary directors, and other deserving awardees who have made significant contributions to the state’s film industry.
Emphasizing the importance of a flawless event, the Deputy Commissioner issued clear directives to all officials present, urging them to ensure every arrangement is perfect and to prevent any potential mishaps. He specifically noted, “Since the program is slated for the evening, it’s crucial that suitable accommodation is pre-arranged for all attending dignitaries.”
Furthermore, Mr. Reddy stressed the need for efficient event logistics, instructing officials to set up distinct parking areas for both the general public and VIP guests, alongside implementing robust traffic management strategies to ensure smooth flow and accessibility.
The meeting saw the attendance of several key figures, including Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner Sheikh Tanveer Asif, DCP (Law and Order) R.N. Bindumani, Assistant Commissioner of Police Shivashankar, and Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations Vinod Chandra, all collaborating to make the awards ceremony a resounding success.
