Early on Sunday morning, the Chennai racecourse buzzed with activity as several prominent horses underwent their exercises. Among them, Noorie, Ruling Star, Golden Sabre, and Andorra truly caught the eye with their exceptional performances.
Outer Sand Workouts:
- 600m: Suryakrishi, guided by jockey Shah Alam, clocked 42.5 seconds and appeared to be in excellent physical condition. Blue Eyed Boy, with Farid Ansari aboard, also completed the 600m in 42.5 seconds, though he seemed to require a bit more encouragement.
Inner Sand Workouts:
- 600m: Rise Again, ridden by Koshi Kumar, demonstrated good movement with a time of 41.5 seconds. Rubirosa (N. Darshan) and Bold Show (Shah Alam) were particularly impressive, covering the distance in a swift 38.5 seconds. Black Label (Koshi Kumar) had an easy session, finishing in 47 seconds, as did Black Diamond (Koshi Kumar) at 47 seconds. See It Thru (rb) looked handy at 43 seconds, while Golden Marina (N. Darshan) appeared to be in splendid shape, completing the 600m in 39 seconds.
- The quartet of Noorie (M. Bhaskar) and Ruling Star (A.S. Peter) showcased their superb form with an impressive 38.5 seconds. Similarly, Golden Sabre (Shah Alam) and Andorra (N. Darshan) left a strong impression, clocking 39 seconds. Legacy (A.S. Peter) had an unextended run of 44 seconds. In a competitive pairing, Present Sir (N. Darshan) finished two lengths ahead of Proposed (Farid Ansari), both timed at 41.5 seconds. Finally, Knotty One (Shah Alam) shaped up well, completing the workout in 43.5 seconds.
These morning exercises suggest that these horses are in peak condition, promising exciting races ahead for enthusiasts.
