On Monday morning, September 15th, the Chennai track witnessed a series of promising workouts, with ‘Smiles Of Fortune’ and ‘Enchanting’ delivering particularly strong performances.
Outer Sand Session
During the 600m drills on the outer sand track, ‘Multiwave’ (ridden by Koshi Kumar) completed its exercise in 46.5 seconds, moving with notable freedom. ‘Royal Baron’ (M.S. Deora) and ‘Sovereign Spirit’ (S. Kabdhar) clocked 43 seconds, appearing to be in excellent condition. ‘Chief Admiral’ (A.S. Peter) showed good control at 46 seconds, while ‘Groovin’ (Shyam Kumar) performed admirably at 43 seconds. ‘Sensibility’ (Shyam Kumar) also displayed fine form, finishing in 44 seconds.
Inner Sand Session
The inner sand workouts, also covering 600m, saw ‘Cinnamon’ (rb) in superb condition with a time of 42 seconds. ‘Persian Rock’ (Shah Alam) moved comfortably on the bit, recording 45 seconds. ‘Rise Again’ (Koshi Kumar) moved well at 42.5 seconds, and ‘King’s Battalion’ (Shah Alam) was unextended at 44 seconds. ‘All Stars’ (Inyat), ‘Arjun’ (M.S. Deora), and ‘Diamond And Pearls’ (Jitendra Singh) all had easy runs at 47, 47.5, and 47.5 seconds respectively. ‘See It Thru’ (Farid Ansari) showed good movement at 42 seconds, and ‘Aspira’ (M. Bhaskar) maintained its excellent form, finishing in 40.5 seconds. ‘Off Shore Breeze’ (Inayat) and ‘Element’ (M.S. Deora) had easy workouts at 47 and 46 seconds. ‘Enchanting’ (A.S. Peter) impressed significantly with a time of 41 seconds. ‘Forest Lake’ (Koshi Kumar) completed its run in 48 seconds, while ‘Royal Exemplar’ (Farid Ansari) was handy at 44.5 seconds. ‘Smiles Of Fortune’ (M. Bhaskar) was notably sharp, clocking an impressive 39.5 seconds, and ‘Battalion’s Pride’ (Shah Alam) had an easy session at 48 seconds.
