A significant weather alert has been issued for Telangana, with a forecast of heavy rainfall across 12 districts for Thursday, September 25, 2025. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) released its latest bulletin, predicting isolated heavy downpours in several regions. These include Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanumakonda districts.
Beyond the heavy rain, residents across all 33 districts of Telangana should also anticipate thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning and strong gusty winds, likely to occur at isolated locations.
For Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, the next 24 hours are expected to bring generally cloudy skies. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are highly probable, also accompanied by gusty winds. Additionally, mist or hazy conditions are forecast for the morning and night hours. Temperatures in the city are expected to hover around a maximum of 29 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius, according to the IMD’s latest update.
