The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), a key ally in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) alongside the BJP and JD(U), has allocated 29 seats for itself in the 243-member Bihar assembly. The party had pinned its hopes on Seema Singh, a 42-year-old figure known for her work in the Bhojpuri film industry.

Responding to the development, LJP (Ram Vilas) President Chirag Paswan stated that the rejection was due to a minor oversight. He mentioned that the party has submitted a representation to the Election Commission, expressing hope for a swift resolution.
The Bihar assembly elections are scheduled to take place in two phases on November 6 and 11, with vote counting on November 14.
