Riding high on the triumphant conclusion of the Salakatla Brahmotsavams at Tirumala, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is brimming with confidence for the smooth conduct of future grand events. This includes upcoming festivals like Tiruchanur Brahmotsavams, Vaikuntha Ekadasi, and Ratha Sapthami, all of which are anticipated to be managed with equal precision.
A recent review meeting, held at Mahati auditorium, brought together key TTD authorities. Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal, Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, Joint Executive Officer V. Veerabrahmam, and Chief Vigilance and Security Officer K.V. Muralikrishna led the discussions, joined by Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu. The focus was on the peaceful and incident-free execution of the nine-day spiritual extravaganza at Tirumala.
“The atmosphere at Tirumala during the festival was overwhelmingly positive. Devotees, whether in the viewing galleries or queue lines, consistently voiced their satisfaction with all the arrangements,” stated Mr. Singhal, highlighting the public’s positive reception.
He gratefully acknowledged that a significant part of the event’s success stemmed from valuable suggestions provided by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, given when the TTD delegation extended their invitation for the Brahmotsavams.
Mr. Singhal further commended the collaborative spirit among the TTD team, headed by Chairman B.R. Naidu and the Trust Board members, along with the district administration, local police, and dedicated Srivari Sevaks (volunteers). The immense cooperation from devotees also played a crucial role.
Adding to this, Mr. Chowdary noted that the detailed guidelines, formulated three months in advance, were instrumental in fostering seamless coordination. Mr. Veerabrahmam echoed this sentiment, praising the exceptional teamwork displayed by all officials involved.
From a security perspective, Mr. Subbarayudu and Mr. Muralikrishna particularly lauded the integration of advanced technology. This included a geo-tagging system for children and senior citizens, a proactive social media team, and a specialized cyber wing. These innovations not only effectively countered misinformation but also allowed for real-time crime prevention, ensuring a safe and secure environment for everyone.
