Mysuru recently vibrated with the thunderous roar of engines as an impressive superbike rally swept through the city. This spectacular event was organized to commemorate the first anniversary of the ibis Styles hotel in Mysuru, drawing attention from across the region. An exciting photograph capturing the rally in full swing showcases the dynamic presence of these powerful machines against the city’s backdrop, symbolizing the fusion of modern luxury and traditional charm.
Organized in collaboration with Special Initiative Riders, a passionate community of superbike enthusiasts from Bengaluru, the rally carved a magnificent path through Mysuru’s most celebrated locations. Participants on approximately 50 luxury superbikes, including prestigious brands like Harley Davidson, Ducati, and BMW, cruised past iconic landmarks such as the majestic Mysuru Palace, the serene Chamundi Hills, the grand Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel, and the historic Rail Museum. It was a truly unforgettable sight, blending high-octane excitement with the city’s rich heritage.
Beyond the sheer spectacle, the rally carried a crucial message: promoting responsible riding. A press release highlighted the organizers’ dedication to fostering road safety, encouraging safe-riding practices, raising awareness, and advocating for mutual respect among all road users. This ensures that the exhilaration of biking is always paired with a strong sense of accountability. The celebrations, held on September 7th, also saw enthusiastic participation from ibis Styles hotel staff and guests, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Ganeshram Iyer, manager of ibis Styles Mysuru, shared his delight, stating, ‘Completing one year in Mysuru has been an incredibly special journey.
