Travelers heading towards the revered Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam should be aware of significant traffic restrictions scheduled for Thursday, October 16. These measures are being implemented to facilitate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to the sacred site.
In a joint announcement, District Collector Rajakumari Ganiya and Superintendent of Police (SP) Suneel Sheoran confirmed that these restrictions will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on October 16. They earnestly requested all devotees traveling to the temple, particularly those from Telangana and the Dornala region of Andhra Pradesh, to adjust their travel schedules to avoid inconvenience during this period.
Authorities emphasized the importance of public cooperation, urging everyone to adhere to the directives issued by the traffic police to ensure a smooth and safe environment. Normal traffic flow will resume promptly once the Prime Minister’s visit to Srisailam has concluded.
