Prashant Kishor, the prominent poll strategist and politician, has leveled serious allegations against Bihar’s ruling NDA coalition. During a press conference in Patna, Kishor stated that three candidates from his Jan Suraaj Party were compelled to withdraw their nominations. He accused the BJP of attempting to create an atmosphere of fear and intimidation, suggesting, “They are trying to create an atmosphere that we’re scared.”
With the Bihar Assembly elections drawing near, Kishor’s remarks target the BJP’s strategy, which he described as using the ‘mahagathbandhan’ to scare voters with warnings of a return to “Lalu’s jungle raj.” He further commented on the BJP’s established reputation in Bihar, noting that the party seems to have a way of forming the government irrespective of the election’s outcome.
