Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the significant silver jubilee celebration of Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day, also known as Rajyotsav 2025, on November 1. This event marks 25 years since the state’s formation.
The Prime Minister is expected to arrive in Raipur on the evening of October 31 and will stay overnight in the state capital before participating in a series of programs the following day. Officials have outlined five major events planned across Raipur as part of his visit.
On November 1, PM Modi will engage with 2,500 children at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital. He is also slated to inaugurate the new building of the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris organization, officially dedicate the new Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly building, and inaugurate the Tribal Museum.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai expressed his pride in the Prime Minister’s visit, stating, “On November 1, Chhattisgarh will complete 25 glorious years of its formation. This Silver Jubilee year is a celebration of the state’s achievements and progress.”
The Chief Minister also highlighted the government’s efforts in tackling Maoist extremism, noting the strong resolve shown by Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He added that the state’s rehabilitation policies have led to an increase in Maoist surrenders, and the Prime Minister’s visit is expected to further boost development and a sense of renewed energy in Chhattisgarh.
Preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit are in full swing, with expectations of large public participation as Chhattisgarh celebrates its quarter-century milestone on November 1, 2000.
