This year’s conference, held in the wake of ‘Operation Sindoor’, is set to emphasize crucial areas such as institutional reforms, profound transformations, and bolstering operational readiness. Its guiding theme, ‘Year of Reforms — Transforming for the Future’, underscores a forward-looking agenda.
An official highlighted that the conference’s agenda clearly demonstrates the armed forces’ unwavering dedication to implementing comprehensive institutional reforms, fostering greater integration among branches, and advancing technological modernization, all while maintaining superior multi-domain operational readiness.
Prime Minister Modi’s itinerary saw him arriving in Kolkata on Sunday evening from Assam, with plans to depart for Purnea in Bihar later on Monday afternoon.
The previous Combined Commanders’ Conference took place in Bhopal in 2023.
