On Chhattisgarh’s 25th State Formation Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his felicitations, describing it as a “golden beginning” for the state’s development journey. Reflecting on his deep personal connection with Chhattisgarh, forged during his time as a young worker, the Prime Minister stated, “I have been a witness to every moment of Chhattisgarh’s transformation.” He expressed joy in participating in this significant milestone.
Speaking at an event in Nava Raipur, PM Modi emphasized the state’s rapid development and inaugurated the new assembly building and a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, credited with the state’s formation. He extended best wishes to the people and the state government.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the “Shanti Shikhar” of Brahma Kumaris in Nava Raipur, a center for spiritual learning and meditation. He also interacted with children who received treatment for congenital heart diseases under the ‘Gift of Life’ program. During his address, he acknowledged the Brahma Kumaris’ crucial role in the ‘Viksit Bharat’ movement.
Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial & Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum in Raipur. He also launched the Museum Portal and released the e-book “Aadi Shourya,” which chronicles the state’s rich heritage of freedom fighters and their sacrifices.
