District Collector Alex Varghese has issued an official order outlining alternative routes for drivers. If you’re traveling from Changanassery, your recommended detour is through the Changanassery–Pooppally Junction–Champakulam–S.N. Kavala–Alappuzha route. For those heading from Alappuzha, please proceed via the Alappuzha–S.N. Kavala–Champakulam–Pooppally Junction route. Alternatively, you may also consider using the Ambalappuzha–Thiruvalla road as another viable option. These diversions are in place to help manage traffic flow efficiently during the bridge closure.
