In a powerful display of solidarity and condemnation, Bharat Chaitanya Yuvajana (BCY) party president, Bode Ramachandra Yadav, paid a visit to the family of Tirumalasetti Lakshmi Naidu at their Darakanipadu residence in Gudluru mandal. The visit, which took place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, underscored the rising tensions in Nellore following Naidu’s tragic demise.
Mr. Naidu was recently killed after being struck by a vehicle in an incident widely believed to be orchestrated by a local Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader near Rallapadu. While authorities in the Nellore district have since apprehended the accused, the event has cast a dark shadow over the region’s political landscape, sparking widespread public distress and outrage.
During his visit, the BCY leader issued a strong demand for justice, advocating for a significant financial aid of ₹1 crore for the victim’s family, alongside a government job for one of its members. Yadav didn’t mince words, accusing the current government of failing the Backward Classes (BC) community, a demographic he highlighted as instrumental in bringing the ruling alliance to power.
Furthermore, Mr. Yadav leveled serious allegations against the Nellore police, claiming they ignored Mr. Naidu’s pleas for security a mere ten days before his fatal incident. He suggested that police efforts to “distort the facts and change the narrative” were attempts to cover up their negligence and operational failures.
