The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has introduced an innovative digital platform named ‘Vidya Spoorti,’ aimed at significantly streamlining the scholarship application process for the children of its employees.
During the official launch event in Hubballi, NWKRTC Chairman Bharamagouda (Raju) Kage underscored the importance of increasing the financial support provided to the children of staff. He urged all employees to leverage this new, simplified system, which is set to make applying for scholarships more accessible than ever before.

She highlighted that the new application was developed with the specific goal of simplifying the entire procedure and ensuring that scholarship amounts are disbursed directly and promptly into the bank accounts of eligible students.
The event also celebrated excellence, with awards presented to conductors who achieved the highest collections through UPI transactions and to depots that recorded outstanding collection figures in August 2025.
Distinguished senior NWKRTC officials, including Siddeshwar Hebbal, Vivekanand V., Ganesh Rathod, and Shashidhar Kumbar, were among those present at the launch ceremony.
