G. Surya Sai Praveenchand, an accomplished IAS officer from the 2019 batch, officially commenced his duties as the Joint Managing Director of AP-Transco at Vidyut Soudha on Monday.
Previously serving as the Additional Commissioner for the A.P. Capital Region Development Authority, Mr. Praveenchand expressed his dedication during the occasion. He committed to advancing AP-Transco’s continuous growth and enhancing its efficiency, aligning with the government’s critical goal of delivering uninterrupted, high-quality power around the clock.
Highlighting AP-Transco’s ongoing efforts, Mr. Praveenchand noted the adoption of various best practices aimed at reinforcing the transmission network, optimizing operational efficiency, and upholding stringent reliability standards. He reiterated his firm commitment to bolstering the organization’s operational structure, ensuring it aligns perfectly with the wider objectives of the Energy Department.
