The main procession will commence from Amaraveerula Smaraka Sthupam, making its way to Bathukamma Ghat, conveniently located near Rotary Children’s Park on Upper Tank Bund. This route will be central to the day’s festivities.
Anticipate these traffic regulations to be active from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m. on September 30, affecting various parts of the city.
Heavy traffic congestion is expected, especially around the Upper Tank Bund and Necklace Road areas. Depending on real-time conditions, vehicles will either be stopped or rerouted at numerous crucial intersections.
During the specified hours, traffic attempting to reach Tank Bund from Telugu Thalli junction and Karbala Maidan will be blocked. Vehicles originating from Secunderabad will be redirected at Karbala Maidan through Bible House, Jabbar Complex, Kawadiguda, Gandhinagar, Goshala, Dhobhi Ghat, Bandamaisamma, Indira Park, and Katta Maisamma, ultimately connecting to the Telugu Thalli flyover. For those traveling from Musheerabad and Kawadiguda towards Children’s Park and Upper Tank Bund, diversions will occur at DBR Mills, directing traffic towards MRO Office, Dhobhi Ghat, Swimming Pool, Bandamaisamma, Indira Park, and Katta Maisamma.
Public transportation, specifically RTC buses, will also operate on altered routes. All inter-district buses traveling from Secunderabad towards MGBS will be diverted from Sweekar Upakar junction, passing through YWCA, Sangeeth, Mettuguda, Tarnaka, Nallakunta, Fever Hospital crossroads, Barkatpura, Nimboli Adda, and Chaderghat before reaching MGBS.
