Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari has rallied government officials and leaders from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Jana Sena Party (JSP) to ensure Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to the revered Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam is a resounding success. Her call emphasizes seamless coordination across all groups for the significant event.
On Tuesday, Ms. Shabari, accompanied by District Collector Rajakumari Ganiya, Srisailam temple Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao, and BJP State President P.V.N. Madhav, personally visited Srisailam to meticulously inspect the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit, scheduled for October 16.
During her visit, Ms. Shabari highlighted that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, and Endowments Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy had previously conducted an extensive review meeting with representatives from various government departments to finalize arrangements.
She further conveyed that the Chief Minister had issued clear directives to officials to draft comprehensive proposals aimed at elevating Srisailam’s development to match the standards of Tirumala, thereby enhancing facilities for pilgrims. Moreover, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu is expected to actively pursue funding for the sacred Jyothirlinga shrine’s ambitious development projects.
Ms. Shabari also expressed her gratitude, noting that the Prime Minister had graciously accepted her invitation to visit Srisailam. Alongside her, Srisailam Temple Trust Board Chairman Ramesh Naidu and board members Meda Murali and Rekha were present during the inspection.
Following the inspection, Ms. Shabari joined the Valmiki birth anniversary celebrations organized by the Mandal Valmiki Sangham in Sunnipenta, Srisailam mandal. There, she reaffirmed her commitment to championing the cause of including the Valmiki community in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) list and working towards addressing their pressing concerns.
