Last year, the drone show at Mysuru’s Dasara festival captivated tourists with its innovative light formations, and this year promises an even grander spectacle. The Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) is gearing up to host trial demonstrations on September 28th and 29th, leading up to the highly anticipated main shows on October 1st and 2nd.
In an exciting development, the CESC plans to double the number of drones used. Last year’s show featured 1,500 drones, which created over 15 intricate light designs that illuminated the night sky above the Torchlight Parade Grounds in Mysuru.
“Building on the success of our first drone show last year, CESC is committed to making this year’s event even more appealing by deploying a remarkable 3,000 drones,” stated an official release from the corporation.
Adding a fresh layer of novelty and excitement, this year’s drone show, now a major highlight of the Dasara festivities, will commence at 7 p.m. on September 28th at the Torchlight Parade Grounds in Bannimantap, following a series of vibrant cultural programs.
Munigopal Raju, Managing Director of CESC, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “This year’s drone show will deliver a far more thrilling experience. With shows spanning four days and utilizing 3,000 drones, we guarantee an unforgettable and exhilarating experience for our audience.”
