The seismic activity was reported at 6:10 AM on September 30, with its epicenter located approximately 27 km southeast of Ukhrul in Manipur, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
The earthquake originated at a depth of 15 km, with its coordinates recorded at latitude 24.73 N and longitude 94.63 E. This event follows a similar seismic incident just three days prior, when a 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck Bangladesh on September 27, near Kolkata, West Bengal.
