In a heartening display of community support, Minister for Endowments, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, personally oversaw the distribution of financial assistance totaling ₹85.50 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) in Atmakur Constituency on Sunday, October 19, 2025. This vital aid reached 111 patients who had undergone complex surgeries and high-end medical treatments, providing much-needed relief during their recovery.
This latest distribution brings the total CMRF assistance in the Atmakur Assembly segment over the past fourteen months to an impressive ₹5.06 crore, benefiting 492 families facing medical emergencies.
During a public event held at the Atmakur bus stand junction, Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy reaffirmed the NDA alliance government’s unwavering dedication to assisting the underprivileged. He extended his gratitude to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for his generous and continuous support to patients across the state grappling with financial burdens after critical medical procedures.
Adding to the festive spirit of Deepavali, the Minister also distributed thoughtful kits containing clothes and essential items to 125 municipal staff members, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.
In unrelated but swift action, officials addressed complaints regarding a power outage at the Government Hospital in Atmakur. Following reports from patients and their attendants, Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy promptly instructed Revenue Divisional Officer B. Pavani and Deputy Superintendent of Police B. Venugopal to investigate. Their visit confirmed a fifteen-minute power disruption on Saturday night, October 18, caused by heavy rains. While low voltage persisted briefly, generators were quickly activated, and the Power Department was mobilized to restore and ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply.
The Minister concluded by urging the public to exercise caution and not fall prey to misinformation circulating on social media.
