Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam successfully concluded his impactful four-day visit to Uttarakhand on Monday. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami personally met with Prime Minister Ramgoolam at the Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun to mark the occasion.
Following their meeting, Chief Minister Dhami shared his thoughts on social media, emphasizing the profound significance of the Mauritian Prime Minister’s visit. He stated that the visit is poised to further deepen and solidify the cultural ties that bind India and Mauritius. Chief Minister Dhami also proudly asserted that “the flag of India, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continues to fly high across the globe.”
In a gesture of warm hospitality and cultural exchange, the Chief Minister presented the Mauritian Prime Minister with ‘prasad’ from the revered Chardham pilgrimage sites. Additionally, Prime Minister Ramgoolam received a selection of exquisite products from ‘House of Himalayas,’ Uttarakhand’s premier umbrella brand, as a cherished souvenir of his visit.
Responding to the warm reception, the Mauritian Prime Minister expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Uttarakhand’s renowned tradition of hospitality, extending his gratitude to Chief Minister Dhami for the memorable experience.
Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam, accompanied by his wife Veena Ramgoolam, arrived in Uttarakhand on September 12, embarking on a journey that has clearly strengthened bilateral relations.
